After assisting a friend during delivery in June 2001, Lindsey began her journey into “birth world” as she calls it. She dabbled here and there until 2004 when she got serious about becoming a doula. After studying for months, Lindsey received DONA training in August 2005. While she loves “doulaing”, Lindsey realized that she wanted to be more involved in the pregnancy and delivery process. She was invited to join Tender Beginnings in the summer of 2007 and started catching babies in March 2008. While working under the guidance of Mary Anne, Lindsey is gaining experience and knowledge while serving the women of Middle Tennessee. She has nearly completed the birthing skill requirements for NARM and hopes to sit for the national exam in a few months.Education
